First of all, just go ahead and bookmark, rss, or follow Fast Company. It's easily one of the best magazines about business. Also check out this article regarding Twitter It's mostly about building a "trusted" network. If people don't respect you they won't follow what you're doing; if you're promoting your business you must do it in a more personal way, so you can be trusted. If they trust you they will respect you and in turn they will follow. It's that easy. I get businesses following me on twitter all the time. First I look at their posts; if it's all promotion and no personal comments then I don't follow them and in most cases I block them quick. No respect.
We have launched our print services division. We do a lot of design, pre-press and printing for others so we figured, "Why not open a print shop."At JWE Print Services we offer great deals. Take a look at the catalog, specials and packages...oh and the browser design and upload tool and place an order. You will love the quality and prompt delivery service.
If you check out the Portfolios page you will see a bunch of books where you can turn the pages and view them in full-screen mode. The Flash magazine has been done for awhile but it's an easy way for people to look at something online. Issuu does it free (pro accounts for $19 a month are available.) so you can easily upload a document and then quickly embed it into an HTML page. For Wordpress sites such as this you can install a plug-in for Issuu (search for it lazy fingers) and you're on your way to self publishing. You can also read a bunch of magazines for free. ISSUU

Creating websites is something I love to do. A website is crucial to the success of anything whether it’s business or personal projects. I design them from scratch and I operate, install and customize all of my own Wordpress systems. I can build high quality CSS/HTML sites and incorporate Flash, motion design and social media elements. I can do just about anything you want and I have a great group of contract designers that I work with if you need a specialty item such as a quality Flash site, an e-commerce section etc. I mostly counsel my clients into hiring me to set-up Wordpress as a content management system. The reason for this is that I feel you benefit from a website more if you can update it yourself, plus Wordpress is free and very powerful. I do have rates for site maintenance and web content management if you require it, but most of my clients want to learn how to add content themselves. The pricing is much more reasonable as well.
Below are some websites I’ve created; my involvement consists of design and strategy, setting up the system and hosting, managing content and redesigns. Rates vary from $1,000 (for a complete Wordpress installation, theme customization and content start-up) to $5,000.00 and up for a complete custom built website. Please contact me for anything you require and I will help you find a solution that falls within your budget.
Inpeloto
Inpeloto is a clothing company and lifestyle brand. The lifestyle is summed-up in the meaning of Inpeloto. Infinite Peace Love Togetherness. I created a website where the company principal Melissa Michaels can easily update content using a mobile phone. It has an automatic email posting service so whenever new content is added each subscriber receives the content via email or text message. It will also post on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and more. The website can be fully controlled by the owner. This makes it a powerful tool for business, marketing and special promotions. All web sites should have this capability–does yours?
AG Life Skills Camp
This is a website for pro NFL star Amon Gordon and his annual Life Skills Football Camp for youth. The home page is xhtml and css. It has an embedded video on the front page, photo gallery links and a back-end using Wordpress as a CMS to drive additional content.
Tri-Star Landscape Management
Tri-Star is a San Diego landscape company that needed an easy-to-use website to help manage its many clients and also to help attract new accounts. This website was built from the ground up with a custom designed layout, CSS with XHTML mark-up and a simple navigation.
Hacienda El Alto
This is a site set-up for a unique home in Mexico City that has been used for celebrity getaways as well as film festivals. Its owners (and my clients) are Holler and Saunders who supply ultra high end antiques and interior decorating to designers, architects and custom home builders worldwide. It is still a work in progress and we will soon be adding more photos of this amazing property as well as a 3D model of the rooms so you can take a virtual tour.
Terence Toy
This site has a lot of functionality built into it, but as you can see it’s fairly simple. Terence is a legendary Los Angeles dj who does a lot of different stuff and his website is a hub for information that is constantly being updated. The landing page functions as a bulletin board that has a Feedburner email subscription service ( a free service that sends an email to your subscribers whenever you update your site), a Twitter interface so he can update his site from his mobile phone, a Flickr gallery that shows flyers for his upcoming gigs. This can be updated by simply emailing a flyer image to a secret email account. You’ll also find a linked Google calendar that shows up in his blog sidebar with all of his upcoming events and a Feedburner bulletin board that shows his most recent posts. The actual website itself is another Wordpress installation that contains booking info, logo packs, press kits that can be downloaded, a video and fashion page and much more. I also created a layout on Terence’s MySpace page to match the bulletin board (it also shares the same code) so it will auto update whenever the landing page is updated. The same code can also be used to promote in MySpace bulletins and blog posts.
Messenger Music Service
This is a music news site using Wordpress that will be relaunched in 2010.
Ewell Art
I created my own website so I can have control over how it functions as well as as a simple interface to disseminate tons of content. When you arrive at the website you are greeted by a self portrait of me showing off six of my current favorite images along with a bulletin board that displays my rss feed, weblog posts and Twitter bits. On the side you will see an easy-to-use navigation system that takes you to my portfolio page, blog, RSS feed, info page and even my dj website. The site was custom built using Photoshop for the layout and custom CSS and xhtml with PHP elements. I can easily change the images to suit my many moods and it has been very good to me so far.
JWDJ Website
This is my dj website. It has a custom landing page with an embedded Tumblr blog showing an event website on the front page. Once inside the main site there are options to sign up on the Feedburner email list. It also has integration with networks such as Artist Data, Twitter and Facebook. Each time a post is made the content is sent to the email list, sent to Artist Data, Twitter, Facebook status updates and the content is also imported into my Facebook Notes section via RSS.
